When I was a little girl there was a commercial on TV for margarine. I don't remember the brand but I do remember the crown that would magically appear on the heads of the people eating the margarine. Man , I wanted that crown !
After brow beating my poor mom relentlessly ,she finally gave in and bought the magic margarine. I was so excited....that crown was as good as mine! Quick as shot I spread a piece of toast with the strangely colored stuff ( what exactly is margarine ? ) and took a big bite. I chewed slowly and waited for the sound of trumpets that would annouce the arrival of my crown . (TV commercials are 100% factual after all..... ) Nothing happened so I tried another bite. Soon I had finished my toast but my head remained uncrowded.
In honor of childhood dreams I offer this pretty new necklace complete with a shiny crown. ♡

Something rare and special
Last October my lovely daughter and I traveled to Southern California. We had several reasons for this trek , one of them being to visit a flea market of some renowned. To say that it lived up to the hype would be an understatement! There were vendors as far as the eye could see.... I was in heaven :-)
I have spent the last year incorporating my found treasures into new pieces of jewelry. But somehow I forgot about this beatiful pair of earrings while I was busy creating. Since I don't normally have two of anything, this is a rare moment for me.
I made the decision to create two very different necklaces with them. Each earring is showcased in a unique way which appeals to my desire to design one of a kind jewelry. Love the outcome! ♡
